(I.P.) Julius Alexander Rappoport, originally Isak Abramovich, was a Lithuanian silversmith and Fabergé foreman.
Rappoport was born in 1851 in Kovno, Lithuania.
Julius Rappoport opened his first own workshop in St. Petersburg on the Ekaterinisky Canal in 1883, then moved to Moscow to become a Fabergé foreman. Trained in Berlin, he was one of Fabergé's rare craftsmen of Jewish origin. His trademark was I.P. and in Russian Cyrillic (И.П.).

From 1886 to 1908 he was one of four "master craftsmen", the main managers of the Fabergé workshops.
He is best known for his naturalistic animal figures (massive silver castings), but also carried out special commissions for the imperial family, the imperial cabinet and the noble families Yusupov and others.
He made many individual figurines that were sold in Moscow around 1908, as well as eggs decorated with silver enamel that were made in St. Petersburg around 1883.
